Welcome to M-678.com! The purpose of this page is twofold. 1: To document the customization of a 1964 Jeep M-678 van from stock military to a custom daily driver capable of carrying all my camping gear, other misc. stuff all while towing my 2000 Wrangler rockcrawler. 2: To disperse information related to the upkeep of military Forward Control Jeeps and their kin. As this project is a one-off customization, I will not make an attempt to list out every tool, bolt size, and minor procedure preformed. Instead, my intent is to provide a series of very general how-to pages that I hope will give others enough confidence in their skills to attempt their own projects.
